RA's Smady & Panchito hosted a program to show students how to eat healthier at school. A group of students went to Wilsbach and learned ways to eat healthier thanks to the campus dietician!

Viral Video Monday
It's monday and time for a new viral video. This week it's one of the many "Shreds" videos out there. The "Shreds" videos feature famous musicians and their playing is overdubbed. Artists that have fallen victim to the "Shreds" series include Nickleback, Santana, Eddie Van Halen, and Creed (my personal favorite). Here's "Eric Clapton Shreds"

Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament

THE RICHARD A. COUCH MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – SEPTEMBER 27
The Richard A. Couch Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Habitat for Humanity will be held at the Oneonta Country Club on Sunday, September 27. Rich Couch, who passed away earlier this year, originally developed the fund raising tournament. Some of the funds raised will be contributed to his son’s college fund. The tournament begins with a Shotgun start at 1PM and ends with a buffet dinner catered by the Corfu Diner. Golfers are needed to compete for prizes, goodies and events. Individuals or teams of four many enter. The tournament is limited to 20 teams. A unique feature of our tournament is a prize for a hole-in-one of $15,000. All golfers will receive a golf club or bag. Sponsors are needed for snacks, prizes, grab bags, holes and carts. Contact the Country Club Pro at 607-432-8950 or Tom Norris at x9227 for more information. Habitat for Humanity builds houses in partnership with low-income families in Otsego County; proceeds will be used to purchase materials for our twenty-sixth home.
If you are interested in volunteering at the event, please contact Kirsten Wolfe at wolfekn@oneonta.edu.

Viral Video Monday
Hello everybody! Welcome to the first entry in Viral Video Monday! Each week I will be upload one of the internet's many famous or upcoming viral videos! I figured I'd start of with a classic.
The One Show to Rock Them All
Hello Everybody! Saturday was a great day in Littell. In fact it was a great day for anyone who likes music. They were first treated to a wonderful program hosted by RA Amy & RA Eric. Then Lupe Fiasco performed at the Dewar Arena in Alumni Field House. But I want to take a moment to talk about the concert that was held here in Littell.
RA Amy & RA Eric held a program in the Pit Lounge on Saturday afternoon. The program was "Rock To Cure", a rock concert to raise awareness of cancer and of the on-campus club dedicated to fighting cancer with music, Rock to Cure. The talent was provided by a several generations of Littell Residents.
Eternity's End started and ended the event. They rocked the house with covers of Linkin Park and Alice in Chains, and also rocked out to some original material. Members of the group all lived in Littell two years ago in 2007-2008.

Dan Devita on vocals/guitar

Brandon Snell on vocals/drums

Andrew Grau on bass

Keith Kaufman on guitar/vocals

Dom D'Imperio, who lived in Littell from 2007-2008, played several original songs on piano

The generation gap was bridged thanks to Ryan Quinn A.K.A. Quinn Eastwood. Ryan played covers of Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, and more!
After Eternity's End was done, the floor was open for jamming. Three current residents got up and jammed!

Mac Trainor

Jason Lopez

Travis Ryan
It was a great show. Littell has some budding talent waiting to be released. Look out for these guys!

Last Day to Add Classes
*****************LAST DAY TO ADD****************
This message is to let you know that the ADD/DROP period ends today (September 1st). All additions to your schedule after today require an instructor’s signature. There is a $20 late fee assessed for adding or dropping a full semester course starting September 2nd. All dropped courses will appear on your transcript with a “W”. Please see the key dates and deadlines (www.oneonta.edu/registrar) regarding dates for MINI and Half semester courses.
I also want to remind you that the last day to ADD a full semester course is:
September 8th. After this date if you are attending a full semester course and you have not registered for it, you will not receive grades or credit for that course. An instructor adding or deleting your name from a roster does not constitute you adding or dropping a course. After this date you may not add a full semester course.
It is in your best interest to check your e-mail on a regular basis! You can also find the key dates and deadlines on our web page at www.oneonta.edu/registrar.
