STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF: RED CROSS NEEDS YOUR BLOOD! - MARCH 5
The Center for Social Responsibility and Community has scheduled an American Red Cross Blood Drive
for Thursday, March 5, at the Hunt Union Waterfront from 12noon to 5PM. A $350 scholarship has
been promised by Red Cross to be awarded to one lucky student if we reach our goal of 372 pints for this
academic year. SUNY faculty and staff are being asked to donate blood as well. Donors may register
during lunch and dinner hours at Mills or Wilsbach on March 2, 3 or 4 or by phoning a CSRC Student
Coordinator at x2098 to schedule an appointment. Give the Gift of Life! Donate blood!

4TH ANNUAL PHYSIQUE COMPETITION – MARCH 13
The Educational Opportunity Program/Student Opportunities Committee proudly presents the 4th Annual
Physique Competition on Friday, March 13 at 7PM in the Goodrich Theatre, Fine Arts. Tickets are $3
in advance and $4 at the door. All members of the Oneonta Community are invited. This competition
serves as the Student Opportunities Committee fundraiser. Ticket proceeds will go towards funding
educational, social and cultural events for students who may otherwise be unable to attend. Several
Oneonta students work hard for this competition so come out and show your support! Tickets are
available in advance at 332 Netzer Administration Building.

DAFFODIL DAYS! – MARCH 16-20
Put some spring in someone’s life! The American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days are almost here.
Throughout the week of March 16, daffodil gift orders will be distributed here on campus. You can order
a “Bunch” @ $10 or a “Bear & a Bunch” (Boyd’s Teddy Bear) @ $25 for that special someone. Each gift
will contain a personal message—a message from YOU, if you choose to join in the fun! To place an
order, phone CSRC at x2098. Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card, and the
deadline for orders is Saturday, February 28. Checks should be made out to the American Cancer
Society. Daffodil distribution will take place at the Center for Social Responsibility & Community
101C Alumni Hall on March 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20.

Friday, March 20 - Withdrawal Deadline. Last day to drop a full semester course.
